Villetta Coppi is a small stone trullo with a private pool, all to yourselves, deep in the countryside 5 km from Ostuni's centre. It is surrounded by ancient olive trees and a large stone-paved courtyard, and the Adriatic beaches are a quarter of an hour's drive away. It sleeps up to 3 guests, and your dog is welcome too.

The trullo, with its distinctive truncated cone, covers 66 m², all on the ground floor, with stone vaulted ceilings and stone-slab floors. You enter the living-dining room under its barrel vault: sofa, TV, round table, a sideboard with microwave and the house's air conditioning. Next to it is the kitchenette with a window, equipped with a four-burner gas hob, oven, fridge-freezer, moka pot and everything you need to cook. The sleeping area has two bedrooms under the vault: one with a double bed and an alcove wardrobe, the other with a single bed. The bathroom has a shower cubicle, washbasin, toilet and bidet.

Outside, the stone-paved courtyard opens out among the ancient olive trees, with a hammock, loungers and deckchairs. Under the covered veranda you can have lunch and dinner outdoors, with a built-in stone bench and cushions along the trullo wall; under the pergola there's a swing seat for an afternoon rest, and the masonry barbecue is a few steps away. The private pool, above ground with wooden cladding, measures 5×3 m and is 1.20 m deep, surrounded by plumbago and bougainvillea. Pool towels are included.

Guests have exclusive use of the entire property, fully fenced and with no shared spaces: the trullo, the courtyard, the garden, the pool, the veranda, the pergola, the barbecue and the private on-site parking for 2 cars.

We are available before your arrival and throughout your stay, also on WhatsApp, for anything you need and for tips on beaches, restaurants and villages. We only come onto the property when necessary, such as for pool maintenance, and always with advance notice.

The house is in Contrada Monte Caruso, in the countryside south-east of Ostuni, among olive groves and dry-stone walls. Ostuni's white old town and the village of Carovigno are a few minutes' drive away. The beaches of Torre Pozzelle and Costa Merlata and the Torre Guaceto Nature Reserve are less than half an hour away. Inland, Ceglie Messapica, Cisternino, Locorotondo, Martina Franca and Alberobello, with its UNESCO World Heritage trulli, make easy day trips.

You will need a car to move between countryside, villages and the sea; the property has private on-site parking for 2 cars. The house is about 5 km from Ostuni's old town, 6 km from Carovigno and Ostuni railway station, 12-14 km from the beaches of Torre Pozzelle and Costa Merlata, 38 km from Brindisi airport and 95 km from Bari airport, which you can reach by taxi or rental car.

Check-in is from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at our reception or in person at the house.
If you arrive after 8:00 pm, you can collect the keys free of charge from the key box at our reception, or we can welcome you at the house until 11:00 pm for a €30 fee.
Check-out is by 10:00 am.
At check-in, Italian rental law requires a valid ID and the signing of the rental agreement; we also take a €500 security deposit, refunded within 7 days of departure.
The pool is open from 1 May to 31 October; it is 1.20 m deep with no shallow end, so children must always be supervised.
Pets are welcome for a €50 cleaning fee.
Smoking is not allowed indoors, and we ask guests to sort their waste for recycling before check-out, following the instructions provided.
The tourist tax is €2 per person per night and is paid through the online check-in.
