Trullo Vignaiolo is a stone trullo with a private pool, all to yourselves, in the Ostuni countryside. A grapevine pergola shades the entrance, with olive and fruit trees and lavender all around. The old town is about 12 minutes away by car, the Adriatic beaches about 20. It sleeps up to 6 guests, and your dog is welcome too.

The trullo covers 89 m² on a single floor and has been renovated keeping its exposed stone arches, niches and walls. You enter under the cone, into the dining room with a round table for six. Under the stone arch is the masonry kitchen, fully equipped with a gas hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle and moka pot. In the floor, beneath a walk-on glass panel, you can see the trullo's old cistern. Next to it, a stone alcove with a cushioned bench makes a reading corner.

Two steps lead to the corridor with its skylights, which opens onto the living room and the sleeping area: the living room has a TV, a sofa bed for two and French doors onto the pool; the double bedroom has a stone vault, a safe and French doors onto the porch; the second bedroom has two wrought-iron single beds.

There are two bathrooms with shower, both off the corridor: one with an exposed stone wall, the other with mauve walls. The living room and bedrooms have air conditioning and the whole house has underfloor heating, so the trullo is comfortable in spring and autumn too. A utility room with washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board, Wi-Fi and an alarm system complete the house.

Outside, a stone sun deck surrounds the private pool, with entry steps, loungers and a four-poster daybed. Under the reed-covered porch there is a long table for lunch and dinner and a lounge corner with sofa and armchairs. A little further on you'll find the masonry barbecue, the stone outdoor shower and a bar corner with a wine barrel and stools. The garden has a lawn, olive and fruit trees and lavender. Pool towels are included.

Guests have exclusive use of the entire property, with no shared spaces: the trullo, the garden, the pool, the porch, the barbecue and the private parking along the tree-lined drive, inside the gate.

The trullo is in Contrada Molillo, in the Ostuni countryside, in a quiet area towards the Itria Valley. Supermarkets and shops are a few minutes' drive away, and Ostuni's white old town is about 12 minutes. The beaches along the coast, from Villanova to Costa Merlata, are about 12 km away. Inland, Ceglie Messapica, Cisternino, Locorotondo, Martina Franca and Alberobello, with its UNESCO World Heritage trulli, make easy day trips.

You will need a car to move between countryside, villages and the sea; the property has free private on-site parking. Driving times: Ostuni old town about 12 minutes, railway station about 11; nearest beaches about 20; Brindisi airport about 35, reachable by taxi or rental car.

House rules
Check-in is from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at our reception or in person at the trullo. If you arrive after 8:00 pm, you can collect the keys free of charge from the key box at our reception, or we can welcome you at the trullo until 11:00 pm for a €30 fee. Check-out is by 10:00 am.
At check-in, Italian rental law requires a valid ID for every guest and the signing of the rental agreement. We also take a €500 security deposit, refunded within 7 days of departure.
The pool is open from 1 May to 30 October, and for April stays we can open it early on request; it is not fenced, so children must always be supervised. Pets are welcome for a €50 cleaning fee.
Smoking is not allowed indoors, and parties and events are not permitted. Before check-out, please sort your waste for recycling, following the instructions provided. The tourist tax is €2 per person per night and is paid through the online check-in.
