Trullo GiaMar is an old stone trullo with a private pool, all to yourselves, in the countryside between Ostuni and Carovigno. It is surrounded by centuries-old olive trees, 7 km from Ostuni's old town and less than 10 km from the Adriatic beaches. It sleeps up to 7 guests, and your dog is welcome too.

The trullo covers 106 m², all on the ground floor, and has been restored keeping its original stone and vaulted ceilings. You enter through the eat-in kitchen with its barrel-vaulted stone ceiling, equipped with dishwasher, oven and microwave; next comes the living room with TV and a wide single sofa bed. The sleeping area has three bedrooms: a double with private bathroom, one with a built-in masonry bunk bed and private bathroom (the children's favourite), and one with a small double bed. There are three bathrooms, all with shower; the third is next to the living room. Every room has air conditioning via fan-coil units, and the double bedroom and the bunk-bed room also have a split air conditioner. Wi-Fi, a washing machine and an iron complete the house.

Outside, a large lawn with centuries-old olive trees surrounds the 10×4 m private pool, with sun deck, loungers and a wooden gazebo for shade in the hottest hours. Under the reed-covered veranda you can have lunch and dinner overlooking the countryside, with the barbecue a few steps away. Pool towels are included.

Guests have exclusive use of the entire property, with no shared spaces: the trullo, the garden, the private pool with sun deck, the gazebo, the veranda, the barbecue and the private on-site parking, with room for 3–4 cars.

We are available before your arrival and throughout your stay, also on WhatsApp, for anything you need and for tips on beaches, restaurants and villages. We only come onto the property when necessary, such as for pool cleaning once or twice a week, and always with advance notice.

The trullo is in Contrada Tamburroni, in the countryside between Ostuni and Carovigno, halfway between the Itria Valley and the sea. Ostuni's white old town and the village of Carovigno are a few minutes' drive away. The sandy beaches of Torre Pozzelle, Costa Merlata and Torre Santa Sabina and the Torre Guaceto Nature Reserve are all within 20 km. Inland, Cisternino, Ceglie Messapica, Locorotondo, Martina Franca and Alberobello, with its UNESCO World Heritage trulli, make easy day trips.

You will need a car to move between countryside, villages and the sea; the property has private on-site parking. The trullo is 4.5 km from Carovigno, 7 km from Ostuni's old town, 8.5 km from the nearest emergency department, 9.5 km from Torre Pozzelle beach, 15 km from Villanova harbour and 35 km from Brindisi airport, which you can reach by taxi or rental car.

House rules
Check-in is from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at our reception or in person at the trullo.
If you arrive after 8:00 pm, you can collect the keys free of charge from the key box at our reception, or we can welcome you at the trullo until 11:00 pm for a €30 fee.
Check-out is by 10:00 am.
At check-in, Italian rental law requires a valid ID and the signing of the rental agreement; we also take a €500 security deposit, refunded within 7 days of departure.
The pool is open from 1 May to 30 October; it is not fenced, so children must always be supervised.
Pets are welcome for a €50 cleaning fee.
Smoking is not allowed indoors, and we ask guests to sort their waste for recycling before check-out, following the instructions provided.
The tourist tax is €2 per person per night and is paid through the online check-in.
