Balsamo Suite is a stone studio for two in the lanes of Ostuni's old town, a short walk from the Cathedral. Under a barrel vault you'll find the sleeping area, a kitchenette set into an arch of bare stone and a bathroom whose shower is framed by walls of natural rock. You won't need a car in town.
The suite covers 30 m², all on one floor: a single room under a barrel vault, with white walls, niches holding traditional Apulian ceramics, pale stone floors and tufa wall lights that give off a warm glow.
The sleeping area has a double bed between two bedside tables with lamps, a period-style armchair and an open wardrobe corner with a lit clothes rail and wooden hangers. Next to it, in the room itself, is a bowl washbasin with a baroque-framed mirror. For meals there is a small table with 2 chairs by the entrance and a counter with 2 stools under the Smart TV.
The kitchenette sits beneath a large arch of bare stone and has a sink, a 2-zone induction hob, a microwave, a fridge with freezer compartment and an espresso machine with steam wand, plus crockery and pans for two; there is no oven or dishwasher. The bathroom is separate: a walk-in rain shower between walls of natural rock and a toilet with a hygienic hand shower.
There is Wi-Fi, a Smart TV with Netflix, Prime Video and YouTube, towels and bed linen, a hairdryer, a dehumidifier and a tower fan, plus an electric heater for the colder months. The suite has no air conditioning, no washing machine and no outdoor space. The glass entrance door opens onto the lane and has a blackout blind.
The whole suite is for your exclusive use, with a private entrance from the lane and no shared spaces. Three steps with handrails lead up to the wrought-iron gate and the door, which opens with a smart code lock: you'll receive the code before you arrive. There are no cameras in the property.

Balsamo Suite is on Via Balsamo De Landria, a pedestrian lane in the old town of Ostuni, the White City. Within a few minutes' walk you reach the Cathedral, Piazza della Libertà with the column of Sant'Oronzo, the viewpoints along the walls and the lanes with their restaurants, bars and craft shops. The Marina di Ostuni beaches, from Villanova to Costa Merlata, are about 8–12 km away, and the Torre Guaceto Nature Reserve about 25 km. Inland, Cisternino, Ceglie Messapica, Locorotondo, Martina Franca and Alberobello, with its UNESCO World Heritage trulli, make lovely day trips.
In town you get around on foot. The suite is in the old town, inside the limited traffic zone (ZTL), and has no parking: we recommend the Via Tenente Specchia car park (Via Antonio Specchia 43), about a 5-minute walk away, free in the evening and in low season, and paid at certain daytime hours in high season. You'll need a car for the beaches and villages. Distances:

Brindisi airport 38 km, Bari airport 100 km, reachable by train, taxi or rental car.

Check-in is from 4:00 pm and is self-service with the smart lock: you receive the code after the online check-in.
Check-out is between 7:00 and 10:00 am.
During the online check-in you send the IDs of all guests and sign the rental agreement, as required by Italian law.
The tourist tax is €2 per person per night and is paid through the online check-in.
The suite sleeps a maximum of 2 adults, with no extra beds or cots. There are three outdoor steps with handrails at the entrance: it is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility.
Pets are not allowed.
Smoking is not allowed, including indoors, and parties and events are not permitted.
