Lamia Tina is a typical flat-roofed Apulian country house, restored, in the countryside between Ostuni and Ceglie Messapica. It is all on one level, with two double bedrooms and a large private terrace under a pergola, and shares the pool and outdoor stone kitchen with just one other house. It sleeps up to 4 guests, and your dog is welcome too.

The lamia covers 58 m² on a single level, with white walls, high ceilings and a few antique pieces. The living room has a masonry kitchen with decorative tiles, a dining table, a sofa, a TV, a fireplace and a wood-burning stove. The kitchen has a gas hob, a small electric oven, a fridge-freezer and a coffee machine; there is no dishwasher or microwave. From the living room you reach the two double bedrooms, both with air conditioning; one has a canopy bed with mosquito net. The bathroom has a shower and a bidet. Wi-Fi and an outdoor laundry room with washing machine complete the house.

In front of the house is a large paved terrace all to yourselves, with a table for eight under the pergola, a wicker lounge area, deck chairs and an umbrella. The pool, outdoor kitchen and garden are shared with Trullo Leonzio, the only other house on the property, which sleeps up to 4. The pool measures 8×5 m, is 1.40 m deep and has a wide shallow seating ledge. Its telescopic cover traps the sun's heat. Around it are loungers, umbrellas and outdoor showers. You can cook outside in the stone kitchen under the pergola or on the barbecues, among centuries-old olive trees and dry-stone walls.

The lamia, the terrace in front of the entrance and the outdoor laundry room are for your exclusive use. The pool, sun deck, outdoor kitchen, barbecue, garden and parking are shared only with the guests of Trullo Leonzio. To have the whole property, you can book Trullo Leontina. You arrive along an unpaved lane through the olive grove, closed at the start by a padlocked gate: the key is on the set we give you at check-in.

We are available before your arrival and throughout your stay, also on WhatsApp, for anything you need and for tips on beaches, restaurants and villages. Before you arrive we send you the exact location and a short video showing the route, the keys and how the house works. There are security cameras in the outdoor areas only; there are none inside the house.

The lamia is in Contrada Lamia Nuova, in the countryside between Ostuni and Ceglie Messapica, on the edge of the Itria Valley. Ceglie Messapica, with its ducal castle and renowned traditional cuisine, is about 10 minutes away by car; Cisternino and Ostuni's old town about 15. Martina Franca, Locorotondo and Alberobello, with its UNESCO World Heritage trulli, make easy day trips. The Adriatic beaches between Torre Canne and Rosa Marina are about 25–30 minutes away.

You will need a car: the lamia is in the countryside. There are no restricted traffic zones; free parking is available inside the property, along the unpaved lane. Approximate driving times: Ceglie Messapica 10 minutes, Ostuni 15, Martina Franca 20, Ostuni railway station 20, Brindisi airport 40, Bari airport 1 hour 15.

House rules
Check-in is from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at our reception or in person at the lamia.
Between 8:00 pm and 11:00 pm we can welcome you for a €50 fee.
Check-out is by 10:00 am.
At check-in, Italian rental law requires a valid ID for every guest and the signing of the rental agreement; we also take a €150 security deposit.
The pool is shared with just one other house and has no heating system: at the start and end of the season the water temperature depends on the weather; it is not fenced, so children must always be supervised.
Pets are welcome for a €50 cleaning fee.
Smoking is not allowed indoors, and parties and events are not permitted.
